Data Recovery and Forensic Computing

The data recovery process consists of the following stages:
 

1. Diagnosis, assessment of the scope of work required to repair the breakdown, number of working hours and total time required, cost of replacement parts if needed, and evaluation of recovery success chances.
   This stage can last from a few hours to several days.
   This phase ends with the production of a summary report and price quotation.
    

2. With the customer's approval and legally binding work order, the laboratory staff begins the Data Recovery process.
   The duration of this stage varies depending on the nature of the problem, its complexity and declared urgency. 
    
3. Upon completion of the reconstruction of data, the recovered data is transferred to a replacement hard drive or alternative media, as specified in the order
    
4. Upon closure of all outstanding liabilities and payment for the service, the alternate media containing the recovered information is prepared for release.
